Francois Remy founded his Loire Valley wine house in 1885 with first and foremost the desire of offering highly refined wines. To this end, he bought grapes made from premium Loire Valley grape varieties (Chenin, Sauvignon, Pineau d’Aunis, Cabernet Franc...) and then elaborated and blended the grape must in his own cellars. He was recognized as a genuine wine-growing craftsman. His son Louis, but most especially his grandson, Maurice went on to build Maison Remy Pannier’s dynamic and forward-thinking image notably through the development of exports.
Thus, for more than 130 years, Maison Remy Pannier has been elaborating and maturing Loire Valley wines with a distinct style, characterized by a quest for fruity aromas and freshness.
Bateliers de Loire wines are the craftsmen behind the development of our vineyard; Jardins de Loire wines, the perfect reflection of the art of living in the Loire Valley; Cépages de Loire wines, the expression of our terroir’s aromatic freshness.
Remy Pannier, artisan of Loire Valley wines since 1885, pays tribute to the Loire and in this case, signs wines characterizing its style for typical Loire Valley moments.
